Frequently asked questions
- What's the difference between the profiles?
- Right now, none. This tool is built on pdf-lib, which can't yet recompress or downsample embedded images, so every profile produces the same output - biggest size reductions come from PDFs with many indirect objects, while heavily image-based PDFs see the least change. Per-profile image compression is planned for a future update.
